Human Resources Business Partner
Job Description
Provide HR Generalist support to all Polo Custom Products’ locations through an array of services.
Here is what you will do...
Serves as a positive role model consistent with Polo’s corporate culture at all times.
Conducts research on special HR projects as directed by VP of Human Resources & Corporate Development.
Develops policies, procedures, and other HR needs as directed by VP of Human Resources & Corporate Development.
Provides advice and counsel to associates at all levels regarding policies, procedures, and benefits.
Monitors culture, HR climate company-wide, and general morale and makes suggestions/changes where they are needed.
Manages Topeka recruiting at all levels—posting jobs, partnering with recruiters, managing social media advertisements, conducting pay research, and providing compensation suggestions to internal partners, sourcing, interviewing, and hiring.
Coordinates hiring, new employee orientation, and Polo Custom Products’ Mentoring Program.
Facilitates yearly Wellbeing Program.
Conducts 360 reviews
Collaborates with management to create succession plans.
Investigates employee relations issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution and documents for files.
Analyzes trends and metrics to help the HR team and customers make decisions, develop solutions, programs, and policies.
Supports Executive Team with reports, meetings and events, etc.
Ensures accurate and thorough benefit administration via HRIS, including plan set-up, associate eligibility, workforce enrollment, and carrier notifications.
Backs up the VP of Human Resources & Corporate Development and Human Resources Managers.
Travels to other Polo Custom Products’ facilities as required.
Here is what you will need to qualify...
Education: Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or Business related field, preferred.
Experience: Human Resources experience preferred.
Licenses/Certifications: SHRM certification expected after hired. Active in Human Resource local Associations.

Ability to remain calm under pressure and during difficult conversations.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Follows oral and written instructions.
Ability and desire to move to other HR positions to become well-rounded and advance within HR.
Here are the physical requirements...
Close visual work on the computer for long periods of time.
Ability to read, write and communicate 100% of the time via telephone, e-mail or in person to internal and external customers.
Moves frequently about the facility walking, bending, climbing, and reaching.
Able to remain in a stationary position standing or sitting 50% of the time.
Occasionally lifts/and or carries objects about the facility up to 35 lbs. or with the proper equipment.
