Phy Support & Recruitment Rep - Stormont Vail Health
Provide Assistance to the Recruitment, On-Boarding and Retention Process by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provides appropriate information to inquiries regarding recruitment, and benefits to Physicians and Advanced Practice Provider applicants.
- Develops and maintains contacts with educational programs and professional organizations.
- Establishes relationships with external recruiters and employment agencies and presents opportunities to director for review.
- Develops and maintains network of contacts to help identify and source qualified applicants.
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills both verbally and in writing while working with all Stormont Vail customers.
- Assists director with budget preparation based on previous year’s data.
- Flexibility to efficiently handle multiple projects ranging from administrative, compensation, benefits, recruitment, etc.
- Effectively demonstrates the ability to prioritize assigned tasks.
- Utilize capability of computer software to work efficiently and effectively (example: email, scheduling, Position Manager, Word, Excel, CTS, etc.).
- Pre-screens and interviews applicants in accordance with Stormont-Vail HealthCare
policies and procedures in compliance with all state and federal employment laws. - Works with hiring managers and Com/Benefits Director to confirm postings/Job descriptions/salary ranges are current and correct.
- Promptly removes posting from SV website when filled internally/externally or placed on hold/cancelled, Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.
- Processes new hire paperwork and sends out communication to applicants that have not been selected.
- Works with contract companies to ensure all needed documentation and licensure is place prior to the contracted staff working at SV.
- Utilizes online as well as all other types of recruiting sources to identify and recruit qualified applicants.
- Assists director to ensure SVHC is utilizing the most up-to-date tools for successful recruitment results
- Assists with Retention Programs.
- Coordinates Relocation for employed Physicians.
- Coordinates participation in, sets up displays, and works at job/career fairs to positively promote the organization.

Education/Experience:
- One to two years of recruitment experience preferred – experience in healthcare related area (communications, marketing, HR or other area may be substituted).
- College degree preferred but work experience will be taken into consideration.
- Experience in communications and/or sales beneficial.
