Job Summary
As an HR Business Partner, you will partner with US Commercial Business Leaders together with the Director, Business HR on strategic and local business and human resource (HR) priorities including talent management, employee engagement and organization effectiveness (performance, organization design & capabilities and change management). Keep a finger on the pulse of the organization and external market and human resource trends.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
• Partner/collaborate to lead the US Commercial Team
• Collaborate as a member of the Business HR Team including Business HR Leader, and Business HR Associate(s), Workforce Planning and Analytics and People Relations
• Partner with HR in the COHREs and CBS to influence and execute HR strategy, policies and programs
• Promote adoption and continuous improvement of the HR Partnership Model in the business and facilitate collaboration among Business HR, CBS HR, COHRES.
• Collaborate with Business Leaders on key business decisions
• Use Workforce Planning and Analytics to inform solutions development (e.g. career planning, targeted compensation, incentives, retention, etc.) through anticipation and understanding of issues and trends and future labor, organization & business needs
• Align the US Commercial Team with enterprise HR principles, policies and standards
• Identify and implement forward-thinking HR solutions based on understanding of relevant business operations and strategies aligned with the HR Strategy Provide insights to the COHREs for the design, execution and continuous improvement of HR programs to ensure relevancy to current and future business needs
Talent Management
• Advise and coach business leaders on topics impacting leadership effectiveness and business results
• Understand and apply, as appropriate, the company's philosophy, principles and programs (including, e.g., total rewards, learning, people development and mobility)
• Co-own all talent management programs together with business leaders
• Partner with Business leaders to identify learning needs and assist with local training execution
• Partner with the Talent Acquisition COHRE and CBS and hiring managers to support the recruitment, hiring and onboarding of staff Collaborate with the People Development COHRE and Global Functions and Business Units on leadership succession plans
• Manage campus recruiting programs, including orientation and rotational programs
• Partner with Finance on headcount management
Organization Effectiveness (Organization Performance, Design, Capabilities and Change Management)
• Collaborate with HR and business leaders on organization design, including structure, processes, capabilities, and resource requirements, and identify gaps and opportunities
• Collaborate with business leaders on action planning to support implementation of organization design
Positive Employee Relations
• Serve as an employee advocate by establishing workforce relationships
• Coach and support leaders' capabilities to create and maintain a positive employee relations work environment
• Champion the company's Ethical Leadership standards, behaviors and compliance
• Monitor HR compliance on-site, including 3rd party contractors
Education/ Experience Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related discipline; Master's degree is preferred
• At least 8 - 10 years of progressive HR experience; Experience in manufacturing and/or consumer products industry
preferred
• Experience in providing HR strategic advice to HR partners and senior business leaders
• Experience in development and implementation of HR initiatives
• Experience in coaching and guiding members of the HR and the business colleagues
• Experience in one or more HR Specialty Area (Recruitment, Compensation, Benefits, People Relations, People
Development, Diversity & Inclusion, Analytics, Organization Development/Design)
