Human Resources Generalist - Golf Coast Hotel Management
Gulf Coast Hotel Management, Inc is a growing hotel management company that currently employees roughly 200 Associates with anticipated growth up to 425 Associates in the coming year. The Human Resources Generalist will be based in the Topeka, KS Support Office along with all Accounting, Human Resource and Administrative Associates. Field Associates are currently based throughout 23 hotel locations and 3 states with expansion anticipated to 38 hotels and 9 additional states.
Job Description
The Human Resources Generalist provides support for all daily Human Resource activities including but not limited to Associate relations, recruitment, retention, and benefits administration. The Human Resource Generalist supports and promotes Gulf Coast Hotel Management’s vision and mission while upholding and instilling our Shared Values to promote and develop company culture.
Primary Job Duties
• Performs routine tasks as needed to administer and execute HR programs, including recruiting, onboarding, benefits, compensation, leave, disciplinary matters, investigations, health, safety, training, and developments
• Builds strong relationships with Associates at all levels to foster trust, accountability, and support to our teams
• Oversees maintenance of personnel records, including electronic personnel files, as required by state and federal law
• Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures
• Acts as a subject matter expert within the organization; provides interpretation, recommended best practices, and ensures compliance with key legal requirements and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Serves as a link between administration and Associates by handling questions, interpreting policies, and helping resolve work-related problems
Essential Skills
• Minimum of 3 years Human Resource experience required
• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to handle highly confidential information and manage information with the utmost integrity

• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent multitasking and time management skills
Preferences
• Hospitality or hotel Human Resources experience preferred.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resources preferred
