Human Resources Coordinator - Silver Lake Bank
Job Summary:
The Human Resources Coordinator will perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the Human Resources department.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation; maintains the integrity and confidentiality of such records.
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and staff relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management.
- Assists in the recruiting process including development of job descriptions, posting positions on various media, reviewing/tracking candidates, scheduling interviews and performing background checks.
- Performs payroll duties including processing, answering staff questions, fixing processing errors, completing necessary reporting and communicating with applicable vendors.
- Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability, and retirement plan providers.
- Conducts or assists with new hire orientation.
- Supports the bank training program including tracking of completed training, research of potential training options and/or programs and followup to requests for specific training.
- Assists with planning and execution of special events such as benefits enrollment, organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and retirement celebrations.
- Completes required regulatory reporting.
- Reviews and approves HR related invoices.
- Assists with the development and updating of HR policies and procedures.
- Keeps current on HR related laws and regulations as they pertain to the bank and potential changes to operations.
- Performs periodic audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and filed appropriately.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite products
- Able to prioritize and work independently
Qualifications:
- High school degree required, College Degree in relevant field preferred
- Human Resource related certification preferred, but not required
- 2-5 years of related experience in a similar sized professional organization
