Human Resources Business Partner - UKHS St. Francis Campus

    The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus has an opening for a Human Resources Business Partner.

    Position Summary

    The Human Resources Business Partner works in all areas of the Human Resources department including Performance Management, HRIS, Recruitment and Retention, Employee Relations, Employee Recognition, and Compensation and Benefits. Reports to the HR Director.

    • Designs and coordinate all the employee recognition programs including service awards banquet and annual picnics.
    • Sends out Monthly Anniversary Letters to all Employees
    • Designs and implements a strategic new hire survey program.
    • Designs and implement a spot recognition program
    • Works with HR Director and other leaders to manages the Employee Relations discussions/investigations.
    • Enters New Hires into Lawson System
    • Backup to Lawson HRIS data entry for status changes, and terminations accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Assists with new hire orientation process as well as onboarding.
    • Attends and Speaks on HR Pieces at Orientation each month.
    • Meets with new employees to do new hire paperwork. Processes and communicates new hire orientation information to the appropriate staff in a timely manner.
    • Prints name badges and assigns access for employees, contractors and students.
    • Assures timely filing of all employee records.
    • Works with Recruiters to assist posting of positions and any other needs.
    • Updates all Job Postings on the Job Board
    • As needed makes job offers, compensation and completes background checks.
    • Coordinates Tuition Reimbursement and Loan Forgiveness programs.
    • Back up the other HR team members as needed.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications and Education Requirements

    Experience

    • Three years of Human Resources experience required, HRIS, Payroll, healthcare experience preferred.

    Education/Certification

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, business or related field required.
    • HRCI and SHRM Certification preferred.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Human Resource skills and abilities needed to work in a fast paced, progressive HR department.
