    Position Summary:
    This position works under the Bureau of Human Resources, located in Topeka at the District One Headquarters Office. This position serves as the Human Resource Administrator for District One. The position is responsible for providing technical expertise which requires analytical thought and a high degree of concentration in multiple human resource areas including but not limited to Employment, Benefits, Employee Relations, Recruitment, and Classification.

    Job responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
    Analyzes a variety of human resource management issues and provides solution to problem areas.
    Serves as the first point of contact for disciplinary letters and other correspondence insuring that KDOT policies and state statues are adhered to.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    Two years of experience in planning, directing, organizing, managing or administering personnel or human resource functions. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.
    Valid Driver’s License at time of appointment.
