    Mainstream Nonprofit Solutions has an exciting new opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist to join our team of success driven Human Resources professionals.

    This role will be based in Topeka, KS, but will serve Mainstream Nonprofit Solution’s human resources efforts across the Enterprise.

    Job Description Summary:

    Duties include consulting with management and employees on various critical areas of Human Resources. The Human Resources generalists will manage, enforce and communicate Human Resources related areas for specific initiatives and projects to the enterprise. This position’s duties also include expertise in employee relations matters for effective resolution and keeping abreast of regulations and compliance. Typically assists in administering human resources policies and procedures. Collects and maintains HR data related to compensation, benefits, training, recruitment, etc. The HR Generalist will prepare internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, exit interviews, onboarding and company policies, etc. as necessary. Reports to HR Manager.

    • Partner with the broader HR team, learn from them, share your best practices, and work to make the entire team better.

    You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

    • Outstanding and positive ATTITUDE
    • Bachelor’s degree (minimum) in Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent preferably.
    • Candidate should have 3 or more years’ experience as an HR generalist and/or business partner role supporting an employee base of 1,000 or more.
    • Ability to use collect and analyze data and metrics to drive solutions.
    • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to influence in diverse business situations.
    • Must have experience in preparing and presenting reports in executive-level briefings.
    • A passion for enhancing the employee experience and producing quality work.
    • Ability to earn the confidence and trust of others by delivering on commitments and demonstrating high standards of ethical conduct.
    • A strong understanding of FMLA and other applicable laws and how they affect employees, employee programs and practices.
    • Demonstrated project planning and time management skills.
    • Ability to use diplomacy and tact in confrontational situations.
    • Excellent planning and organizational skills, as well as attention to detail.
    • Excellent conflict resolution and negotiations skills and the ability to work within company guidelines.
    • Must be able work independently and produce high quality work.
    • Ability to thrive within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
    • Must be able to demonstrate speed, flexibility, adaptability and ability to work under pressure.

    These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

    • Professional certifications/designationssuch as PHR
