First Session: HR Frankenstein – Assembling the Perfect HR Professional for a Changing Workplace
HR professionals occupy a vital position when advising their management team and ensuring their organizations anticipate and adapt to a rapidly evolving workplace. This interactive presentation will identify the key attributes HR professionals must possess for their organizations to thrive. Utilizing a Top Ten list from American pop culture, we will construct a “perfect” HR professional and demonstrate how this HR Frankenstein can guide an organization through troubled waters. Every organization must have its own unique business plan and mission. However, the attributes of a “perfect” HR professional are universal and can make sure the strategic guidance necessary for an organization’s success always retains the human element.
Second Session: Social Media Challenges in a Millennial Employee World
Social media continues to create new and unique legal and practical challenges for businesses. Combine these challenges with those inherent in the new Millennial workforce and you have a recipe for even bigger problems. This session will discuss the combined challenges and engage attendees in problem-solving exercises and brainstorming sessions.
Last day to register online: 1/25/2016 (registrations after 1/25/2016 will need to be done at the door and will be an additional $5)
