Due to a recent retirement and HR Department Re-organization, we have an opening for a Payroll Administrator. The payroll administrator will work with the Payroll and Benefits Manager and two Benefits Administrators handling all the payroll administration for the 1,550+ employees of KDHE, including time card processing, payroll reporting and processes, entering of new hires/terminations into the various systems and other duties to assure an accurate and efficient payroll process. Our 1,550+ employees include employees in the divisions of Environment, Public Health, Medicaid and Office of the Secretary (administration) encompassing many different types of positions from admin, to nurses, public health professionals, geologists, med techs, lab scientist, chemists, and many more types of employees.
