HR Specialist
Newcomer is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical HR Specialist to join their team! This role is ideal for someone with strong payroll experience, a passion for accuracy, and a collaborative spirit. You’ll help manage and optimize our HRIS system (Paycom), ensure payroll and tax compliance, and support HR operations with reporting, data integrity, and special projects.
What You’ll Do:
Process and manage bi-weekly payroll, commissions, and tax filings
Maintain and enhance HRIS functionality and data accuracy
Analyze timekeeping and payroll data for compliance and reporting
Support employment verifications, audits, and HR projects
Collaborate across departments to improve processes and foster a positive workplace
What We're Looking For:
2+ years of HRIS/payroll experience (Paycom preferred)
Strong Excel and data analysis skills
High attention to detail and confidentiality
Team-oriented with excellent communication skills
Knowledge of payroll tax laws and employment practices
