Team Lead HR Business Partner - BCBS of KS

    Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas has an exciting new opportunity in our HR department!

    The Team Lead HR Business Partner will be responsible for developing and fostering strong relationships with management in order to develop tactical and strategic employee and organizational development strategies in support of the business objectives.  This position partners with department leadership to consult and advise on workforce management strategies to include executing human capital initiatives to ensure a high-performance organization and culture.  Works closely with management on workforce planning and organizational strategy, change management, talent management and assessments, policy interpretation and application, performance management, to include coaching, counseling, disciplinary actions and conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.  Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.  Leverages new and existing workforce data to drive change and act as an employee champi  on.

    Qualifications for education and experience include:

    Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field is required.  Certification in SHRM or other human resource-related organization is preferred.

    Experience: Requires 5 years of progressive experience in a variety of human resources specialties or 10 years experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, with at least 3 years' experience in complex employee relations.

    Experience in investigation and resolution of allegations related to discrimination, harassment, sexual harassment, or related retaliation.  Experience in counseling and advising employees in order to resolve problems and concerns.
