Family Friendly Workplaces
Businesses are eager to be an “employer of choice” when recruiting and retaining quality employees. Family-friendly workplace policies are part of the solution. This session will provide practical solutions and details on “Family Forward Workplace” policies that employees are looking for and some that the federal law requires.
Objectives:
- Be able to communicate the benefits to businesses of family-friendly policies.
- Understand the key components of the federal Pregnant Workers Fairness Act and the PUMP for Nursing Mothers Act.
- Leave with at least three (3) practical implementation strategies for each of the laws.
