EBSA’s Common Inquiries Presentation will review the mission and services offered by EBSA to plan participants as well as compliance guidance offered to plan administrators and fiduciaries. We will talk about the most common concerns that are addressed concerning participant rights as well as fiduciary compliance.
Meet the Speaker: Mary Almond
Benefits Advisor Mary Lynn Almond works to informally resolve numerous inquiries regarding pension and welfare benefit plans. Ms. Almond works with participants and beneficiaries, plan administrators, and service providers to respond to complaints and requests for technical assistance information and to provide education and assistance. Ms. Almond received a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in History from Washburn University of Topeka, Kansas in 2014. For several years she has worked to assist the public with retirement and benefits questions and issues. She worked at the U.S. Department of Veteran’s Affairs, the U.S. Railroad Retirement Board and she joined EBSA, DOL four years ago.
