Session 1: Controlling FMLA Abuse
Session 2: NLRB, Your Handbook is Probably Illegal

1:30 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. – Immediately following our chapter meeting and lunch please join Tim Davis as he will provide two additional one-hour training sessions to discuss FMLA and the NLRB.
1:30 p.m. – 2:30 pm. – “Controlling FMLA Abuse” FMLA continues to trouble many employers, particularly when dealing with potential employee abuse situations. This program will discuss most common areas of abuse and how an employer can effectively investigate and control such abuse.
2:45 p.m. – 3:45 p.m. – “NLRB, Your Handbook is Probably Illegal” This program will address recent changes and legal decisions from the National Labor Relations Board impacting employer obligations and compliance. Attendees will understand necessary revisions to their handbooks and personnel manuals as well as how to legally deal with employee activity on social media.
HRCI Credit Hours: Two hours of general HRCI credit has been approved by HRCI for this training.
