We currently have a position for an HR Coordinator Specialist that will work with the HR Director and team of 15 others to coordinate the HR Operations processes here at the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. We currently have 1,550+ employees including in the divisions of Environment, Public Health, Medicaid and Office of the Secretary (administration) encompassing many different types of positions from admin, to nurses, public health professionals, geologists, med techs, lab scientist, chemists, and many more types of employees. This position will coordinate all aspects of HR Operations including recruitment of interns, coordinating all travel for the HR Department, assisting in the Benefits and payroll and employee relations arenas, representing the employee engagement and recognition processes, as well as working as a support specialist in this busy team!
