HR Intern - Capitol Federal
Job Summary:
The overall objective of the HR Intern is to assist the Human Resource department in handling administrative tasks, maintaining records and personnel files.
This is a Full-Time internship position from 30 to 40 hours a week. The internship will start in May and ends early August 2023. As an intern at Capitol Federal you will have the opportunity to connect with other interns and employees through networking events.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Learn about the company’s HR policies, employee benefits, and other HR-related areas to be able to respond to any internal staff inquiries.
• Assists with recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Assists with special projects and research.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
• Must comply with current applicable laws, regulations and bank policies and procedures. Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources.
Required Skills/Abilities:
• A high school degree or equivalent.
• At least a college Junior working toward a degree in Business with preference to a Human Resources minor or emphasis.
